We currently have many beautifully reflective colors from which to choose as well as a selection of burners to help create your distinctive atmosphere.  These translucent colors can be interchanged if desired, to accommodate the changing seasons.  Glacier Flames™ burns cleaner and more efficiently than conventional gas logs.  Glacier Flames™ will not melt, degrade, nor emit toxic fumes, will last virtually a lifetime and is transportable. Glacier Flames™ is a specially formulated and tempered glass product.  As there are no popping cinders, the front glass doors or screens of your fireplace can be removed, which makes the magical beauty of Glacier Flames™ even more attractive.

We use "U" shaped stainless steel burners with specific hole sizes on each side of the burner to give the fireplace a full effect of flames.  Propane units are required to have safety pilot kits so we use a low profile pilot kit in a pan to meet code.  Some large fireplaces that burn Natural Gas, we use a "Fire Ring" (not shown) for a dramatic flame (not available in areas that require safety pilot kits on Natural Gas).

       

 

BELOW IS A CALCULATOR FOR FIGURING THE AMOUNT OF GLASS YOU WILL NEED TO ENHANCE YOUR FIREPLACE WITH Glacier Flames™

Example:      Measure the front width and the depth in the center of the floor front to back.  For example purposes if the front width is 35" and the total depth is 17", the formula for Square or Trapezoidal floors goes as follows: 

Front Width = 35"

Depth = 17"

Thickness of glass = 4"

 

VOLUME = WIDTH X DEPTH X THICKNESS

 

VOLUME = 35 x 17 x 4 = 2380
